The Beer And Hockey Plan For The 2010 USA Olympic Hockey Team

    There's a feeling throughout the country and the media that the USA Olympic team has been missing some of the heart and passion that was present during the 1980 Olympics when pros were not allowed. American hockey needs a shot of adrenaline for the next Olympic games... here's the BeerAndHockey.com plan.

1. A team of US amateurs (and possibly minor league players...) is picked through a tryout process well in advance of the Olympics, much like the 1980 team. A reality tv show is filmed around the "Dream Team". The team has a year to bond, learn systems, and work together.

2. A team of US pros is picked several weeks out from the Olympics and operates the same way that it did this last Olympics.

3. Two weeks before the Olympics the teams face off in a best of three series with the winning team representing the US in the 2010 Olympics.
